LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY
THIS WARRANTY COVERS:
a) Labor/Service: All service performed at STAR Automotive and Import Service (with the exception of installation of used parts) is warranted for 12 Months or 12,000 miles from the date the service or install is completed.
b) Parts: All new, rebuilt, or remanufactured parts sold or installed by STAR are unconditionally warranted for 12 Months or 12,000 miles from the date sold or installed. There is no warranty on used parts.
Some manufacturers offer longer warranty periods on their parts, in which case STAR will honor the manufacturer's warranty.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: Used Parts or installation of used parts.
ALL WARRANTY REPAIR MUST BE PERFORMED BY STAR AUTOMOTIVE AND IMPORT SERVICE. ANY WARRANTY REPAIR PERFORMED WITHOUT THE PRIOR CONSENT OF STAR WILL IMMEDIATELY VOID THIS WARRANTY.
TO OBTAIN SERVICE OR REPLACEMENT PARTS UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY: Please contact our Service Manager to make an appointment for warranty repair to your vehicle. We will attempt to expedite repair as soon as possible, however, the time required will depend upon a) the availability of replacement parts and b) the number of vehicles with previous appointments in our service schedule.
DURATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES: STAR expressly limits any implied warranties to a period of 30 days. (Some states may not allow limitations on how long implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.)
LIMITATION OF CONSEQUENTIAL AND INCIDENTAL DAMAGES: This limited warranty policy does not cover any consequential or incidental damages. STAR’s ability arising out of any sale or service is limited to repair or replacement of the part or service as provided in this limited warranty policy. (Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.)
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
